The Darjeeling Limited definitely needs the Criterion treatment. To me, this is Anderson’s most sophisticated and striking film, not to mention, probably the most interesting to film. The paltry extra features on the FOX dvd are not enough to do this movie justice.

This film is my favorite movie. I couldn’t really ever say that statement before, without really meaning it, but I can now. I think this film is a hidden classic, one that I enjoy more than even Wes Anderson’s other motion pictures.

Plus, it will look so much nicer up their with all the other Critereon Collections!

I always wait for the Criterion Collection release of Anderson’s films. The regular versions stay on the shelf. The Darjeeling Limited will be no exception. Please honor this request and fans of Criterion.
