Hey,

I am wondering what your favorite Wes Anderson scene is in any of his movies. I have a chance to have an artist paint a scene for me and I am having a hard time trying to figure out what I would want. I know it all depends on what I like but if any of you could throw out some scenes that would translate well onto canvas that would be great. Thanks.

Oh and I also won on ebay a few months ago some of the prop books from The Royal Tenenbaums. I will try to post those as well as the magazine prop from the Tenenbaums with Owen holding the snake.

I think my favorite (it's so hard to pick) is the "I Am Waiting" montage from Rushmore.

Richie and Royal on the rooftop in TRT while Mordecai (sp?) flies around.

In Royal Tenenbaums its the Tennis match at Windswept Fields
- Wes A. And A. Wilson are really funny as the announcers

In Bottle Rocket I like the scene where the three of them are testing out the guns

In Rushmore I like both of Max's plays and the revenge sequence

I love the scene in TLA when team Zissou is out on the beach filming the electric jelly fish. Just the effect the lights from the jelly fish give is amazing.

that's a hard-ass question, but there are certainly favorite moments i have.

since you bring up the beach scene, a favorite moment of mine is when steve invites ned onto team zissou, and klaus gets upset and stops filming,, then when he's questioned about it klaus says, 'because.. the sound was going to be shit - he doesnt even know how to hold a boom.'
