The website <!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.punchdrunklove.com/">www.punchdrunklove.com/</a><!--EZCODE LINK END--> was launched today and includes a very short teaser trailer with no mention of the movie. It's just a few clips and some strange graphics, but interesting nonetheless. Check it out PTA fans.

Also, the first full trailer (approx. 2:30) is supposedly premiering today in front of certain screenings of Road to Perdition, as well as possible other films.

This movie... it looks so incredibly good and I've seen maybe a total of 3 seconds of it. I cannot wait for this to be released. Question: did Sandler work for scale on this? i am very curious to see how the studio markets this film. it should be interesting to see whether the commercial trailers are aimed more toward the average adam sandler or p.t. anderson fan and how (if at all) this will affect the film's distribution. as i understand, the role is quite a departure for mr. sandler, so going after his typical demographic may result in legions of disappointed "big daddy" fans.
whatever the marketing strategy, i'll definitely be in the theater for this one.

I don't think they'll go after Adam's normal set. For proof, just look at that abstract teaser on the site.

i'm planning on seeing "road to perdition" this afternoon, so maybe i'll get to see the full-length trailer.

This may be old news, but all eight of those little teasers are now active on the PDL site. They don't show much from the movie, though. I guess that's what a "teaser" trailer is supposed to do, though, right? I'm intrigued.
