a conversation between centralamerican'not and highwaters in a different thread prompted me to add this topic.

what region of the country or earth do you guys hail from?

i'm in nashville, raised in huntsville, alabama. (which is close to olwiggum actually, whom i'd never met outside of the board and found out we have mutual friends)

and actually i was born in houston. (though that point in my life is a bit hazy)

i've lived in Florence, Alabama my whole life. As MrBluesky1 mentioned, we figured out that we have some mutual friends in the area. we probably saw each other at shows in high school or college.

<p>"Does the fact that I'm trying to do it do it for you?"</p>

Back to MN for a year,
Then back to AZ.

It's reeeeeally hot here. Ick.

If anyone's from Austin, or has lived there, please recommend three must-go bars. I'm going end of March, and I don't have time to find out the good places for myself. Please throw me a bone. I wear a t-shirt that reads "Better Geek than Greek" so please recommend accordingly. :)

Southern California my whole life, except for a year when I was five. We moved to Florida so my dad could train bears for the movies there. (Really. It didn't work out.)

Doesn't Long Beach fucking rock? I love this place. It's like L.A. without the snobs and truly terrible parking. And it's close of everything. We even have our own Roscoes chicken and waffles. Eggs with onions and cheese, that's all I have to say.
