i found this cool site: http://www.itsnicethat.com, which posts cool arts stuff every day, and thought racers would like it. i searched 'sites' and found a locked thread in which someone asked what were cool sites. Someone replied "what happened to our cool sites thread?"

Also, while I'm restarting this thread.. http://toothpastefordinner.com, http://marriedtothesea.com, http://nataliedee.com, and http://www.toothpastefordinner.com/livejournal-pictures.php are done by the same two people, who are pretty internationally famous, but are from Columbus, about an hour from where I live. The last one I listed is a random livejournal picture generator - just any picture that's been included on livejournal. It's more awesome than you might think. The others from this paragraph are webcomics, updated at midnight EST every night.
