Just because I thought that this thread was for funny/odd websites to look at for like 5 minutes and laugh or say "huh" and not for normal ones I would visit everyday to pass a lot of time....like I'm talking about sites like rottentomatoes or something instead of like one where someone animates a pencil to walk around the screen, you know?

I'm sorry if I shouldn't of started a new thread for it, but I think there two different topics (one for gimmic sites and another for ones people visit everyday to get like movie, music, and whatever else interesting info).

Anyway now that I'm thinking about it does anyone know the site where movies are explained in like 20 sentences (like short character scenes) and its really halarious?? I remember one for lotr that was gret but I forgot the site...

my brother has moved to japan and left me with a house full of furniture that he said if i can sell, i can have half of the proceeds. i put a pair of bedside tables, a tallboy and a hall table/buffet thing on ebay and within a week people were going NUTS for it. in the end, all this used, slightly banged-up, furniture sold for over AU$700. do a currency conversion on that.

apparently furniture on ebay is the way to go! i told my workmate about this and she told me about her friend who put on a couch that she bought from this budget sub-ikea furniture warehouse chain we have here and doubled her money. she put in the description where she bought it from and still people didn't think to look it up and paid double what the couch was worth brand new.
