Sa-weet! Close enough, thanks.

I'm just tired of walking in there and whining about it for half an hour. I'll settle down until the second week of March.

"That Hansel is so hot right now."

There were people I knew (mostly work folks who always seem to be able to get on my nerves) who thought that I was completely insane for even being excited before Zoolander hit the theaters. oh well, I'd rather be insane..

Until I came to this board, I didn't have much of a desire to see this movie.. I thought it looked kind of like a bad SNL movie or something... But now I'm going to give it a chance, because everybody here seems to like it...

But seriously, other than Owen Wilson, is it any good? I mean scriptwise? I still have my doubts after seeing the previews, but then again I thought American Beauty looked like a teenybopper when I saw the previews...

Well, a flick like Zoolander's more about performances than plot. I don't know, I ended up seeing it twice, but if not for Wilson and Stiller there's really nothing much to say. With them, though, it's a classic comedy. Maybe, I don't know. Comedy's very fragile and subjective, so you may hate it regardless. <p>---------------------------------------------------<BR>Check out <a href=http://db.etree.org/aenematron>My Show List</a>!</p>

I giggled at Zoolander. . . not something I'd get on DVD, but it was an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Certainly worth a rental.

What I REALLY wish is that they would rerun the Ben Stiller Show on Comedy Central. They did, ages ago, before I had satellite. Funny, funny, funny. In his "Oliver Stoneland" skit, for example, he managed to eviscerate every Oliver Stone movie in about, oh, four minutes.

Anyone else see it?

Zoolander was just wierd. I loved it personally. You just have to open your mind when you go, don't look for normal owen wilson style acting. I mean the speech is pretty much the same, but as far as the movie goes its just off the wall. In two words I describe it as Dumb Funny. <p>"On the road from Johnny law, ain't no trip to Cleveland."</p>

I agree. You have to take it for what it's worth. Just watching Ben and Owen going crazy! It's silly, it's ridiculous, and that's just fine. Just to see Ben and Owen making fun of male models is worth it.

I absolutely love this movie, especially being a big fan of Owen's and Ben's! I was great to just sit in the cinema and laugh and have fun for an hour and a half. A great movie that's easy to watch! :)
