*sigh* those of us on the east coast are sadly deprived of that sort of experience. Keep thinking about moving to the west coast (my brother is a DJ in Washington) but until I win the lottery that is not likely to happen. Owen will be headed to Italy soon for Wes' movie.

Hey January - doesn't it stink to be left out :rolleyes But did you know that he has family in Massachusetts?? He does visit Mass. and New York (after all, Wes is in NY) - so it could happen if one were in the right place at the right time. However, now that he is in Italy through the first of the year no sense looking . . .

My sister-in-law and my mom saw him a few weeks ago in Austin at the County Line bbq restaurant. As my family was walking out the door, my sister-in-law told my brother that she saw Luke Wilson in there. My brother said, "Are you sure it was Luke?" and she said, "Yeah, he had blond hair." My brother was tempted to go back inside and say something about Bottle Rocket to Owen, but he decided to leave him alone.

A friend of mine saw him in London filming that thing with Jackie Chan last year (or whenever it was). No close-up though. I rememeber someone on either this board or another one saying they saw him in Prague walking his dog. This guy said 'hi' to him and Owen was polite and said 'hi' back.

A friend of mine works at a store in Santa Monica that sells over priced crap. Standing in the isle putting something away, someone taps her on the shoulder and asks "Do you know where I can find a humidafier?" She recognizes the voice and turns to see, you guessed it, Owen. She directed him to the humidifiers and had the courage to tell him that she liked his work, for which he said thank you. This was last year, anyone remember a certain story about buying a humidifier for his girlfriend on the tonight show before eddie stole the show? The timeline is impecable...

sure we do remember you. You met Mark M working on post-production and couldn't make it to I Spy premiere.

It would be my dream come true to meet, or even see Owen walking down the street. Living in Chicago, that would probably never happen. He is by far the most hilarious person to ever walk the face of this earth. <p>"Richard Gere, he's a real hero of mine....Sting, Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music that he makes, I don't really listen to it. But just the fact that he's making it, I respect that."</p>

ah yes, now I remember... he is full of hilarious pseudo-intelectualisms. WHEW! thanks, Dudleyfan.

I was going to file it with his wish to have the kind of funeral where peple are throwing themselves on his grave, wailing... <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way. -mark twain
