I saw it last night. For the first fifteen minutes i had to switch between Leno and Dog Park, and honestly, the youngest Wilson was winning. And i liked it a lot, you know, i'm trying to avoid the fair share of Wilsons' stinkers and i didn't know a thing about this one, but it was showing under Genie Awards Program (apparently it won a Genie) and it started with an interview (apparently with writer/director/actor Bruce McCulloch), that were good signs.

Definitely it's not your typical romcom, and Janeane is in it, and the guy that played Dog Psychologist is a genius (he got the Genie), the cross between Martin Short and Owen. It's more of a comedy, the romantic story is pretty shallow. And I liked cinematography and costumes too. Give it a try.

Judey, I LOVED Dog Park! I rented it awhile back. That dog psychologist was hilarious.

I wanted to punch that dumbo girlfriend of his. The nerve!

HW, where you've been? It was so quiet on the board today, i felt so lonely.

You liked it too! All the supporting cast is hilarious, even the dog trainer wife which has not any lines. I think it's all because it was kinda sorta indie artsy type of romcom.

And you kow, after Dog Park i have much trust in Luke. I mean i'll still carefully avoid the boners. But you know, i've seen Home Fries one night, and it was ok, really ok, not that it can be compared to Dog Park, no questions asked, but at least i didn't feel embarassed.

Hoverboss, HJ.

AND I had to brave Staples and its terrible parking lot. I love Staples, if I win the lottery, it's the third place I hit. Whoopee!

I tend to like Luke's movies, probably because they're always sorta ... mushy? I even liked Committed, if you can believe it, although that one was all-Heather Graham with minimal Luke (he took that roundhouse like a champ).

Haven't seen a few of them, because I just can not. (I haven't even come close to seeing all of Owen's flicks.)

But yeah, Dog Park's good.

(jeez, i tried to play with ezcodes, my Netscape almost crashed.)
i would never try to see them all (i tried several), it's too embarassing.

Speaking of Luke, should i try Legally Blonde? I sucessfully avoided Reese till now.

And speaking of Heather Graham, she was THE Rollergirl, so her life was not completely wasted.

i really like legally blonde. i know lots of people hated it but i thought it was pretty funny.
luke's not really in it very much and when he is he has this pretty bad hairdo happening.

i think it's worth seeing on a quite night when nothing else is happening.

I liked Legally Blonde, for everything except Luke. I've complained about his wardrobe and lighting somewhere on this board.

Reese is hilarious in it, and Jennifer Coolidge (sp?) - her nail lady - fun nee.

You will not find the key to the universe, but you'll probably get a girlie kick out of it, HJ, give it a shot!
