I think Luke Wilson is one of the more criminally underused actors out there. While I enjoy his brother, Owen, I actually think Luke's got more potential that hasn't yet been tapped. Maybe that's because for every ROYAL TENENBAUMS there's an ALEX AND EMMA. I'm really curious to see what happens with Wilson and Mike Judge's untitled comedy that Fox seems to have hanging in limbo somewhere. Now Wilson is attached to another film that has potential, SUPER EX, about a guy (Wilson) who breaks up with his girlfriend who he finds controlling and neurotic, only to find she's actually a superhero and is now bent on using her powers against him. Ivan Reitman, once a comedy directing God (before such stinkers as EVOLUTION and SIX DAYS, SEVEN NIGHTS), is attached to direct for Fox-based Regency Pictures. Wilson recently wrapped a starring role in THE FAMILY STONE with Sarah Jessica Parker and Claire Danes. He's got the indie comedy/drama THE WENDELL BAKER STORY on the way as well with brother Owen, Will Ferrell and Eva Mendes co-starring.

the Ivan Reitman movie sounds kinda goofy, but so did Evolution (which I actually really like), so ya never know, I guess.

I'm gettin nervous about the mike judge movie. its supposed to come out in august, but has anyone seen a trailer?

Why do I always feel out of the Luke Loop? I remember that Mike Judge project, but from eons ago. But good, August is good. I have NOT seen a trailer. But I haven't been to the movies since . gah, that Kingdom of Heaven thing.

I might miss him a little! With all of this friggen writing and directing and co-starring baloney! ;)
