Could Royal have taken the "Old Grizzly Bear" when the two of them squared off in the Kitchen?

Here's how I pictured that going down.

Remember that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry slips and slides on a patch of ice in those retarded little cowboy boots?

I pictured it that way. Mutually uncoordinated, light struggle, slippy dippy, kaboom!

Sad to say, but I think that the "Old Grizzly Bear" would have mopped the kitchen with Royal, even though in real life that "Old Grizzly Bear" himself is just a crybaby liberal that wants America to be just like Cuba.

I am the walrus.

Oh, I see what you like to do.

You post a link to pics of Republicans and then you slag off liberals.

This is a board for discussing movies. Not your politics. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->"Sometimes I stop and think how strange this all is. Something that began as a little idea in Austin, that Wes and I just walked around talking about between ourselves, has turned into all this."</p>

Coleyfan's half right- feel free to discuss politics. Just not here, take it to the Off-Topic forum. And don't post pics of politicians in any of the upper forums. OFF TOPIC only, please.

Also, hyperbole like that Cuba remark will get you laughed/yelled off the board in seconds flat.

Jesus, I didn't mean to start a war......but personally I think Royal would have put that cane up Henry Sherman's ass. I know I would have. It was one of the funniest scenes in the whole movie.

Anyhow, Like I was saying. Liberals can make good actors because their world is a world of make-believe. Wes would do us all a great service and leave 'That' old grizzly bear out of his next movie. That is the only way to bring those types of crybaby liberals back to reality. I wish him the best on the unemployment line. I'll throw him a quarter.

As for 'That' old grizzly bear in The Royal Tenenbaums. I tip my hat. He played his part without flaw.

I love you all. Eat your vegetables.

Smile. The topic is "Toe to Toe".

I feel like I did a pretty good job doing that.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what you feel, it matters what the moderators of the board feel. Please, if you want to discuss politics with intelligence, take it to the off-topic forums. If you want to keep pushing it and making off-topic generalizations, I assure you it won't go on for long. We all agree on one thing here - Wes is cool. Let's not ruin that by starting stupid bullshit.

..."Wes is cool. Let's not ruin that by starting stupid bullshit."...

So "starting stupid bullshit" will make Wes not cool?

How clever! Misquoting is the bastion of wannabe pundits everywhere. Since "wes is cool" was preceded by a colon or hyphen, it was an object of that clause, therefore not modified by the latter statement. I think everyone who isn't trying to pick a fight knows that.

Look, guy- I know you want to make an impression, but pissing off a moderator with your first couple of posts is not the way to do it.

"YOU WANT TO TALK SOME JIVE? I'LL TALK SOME JIVE."

Nah, just having fun. A source of Comic relief for me. If it wasn't for you, I would be paying someone to dance in circles screaming ..."Infidels!"... with a Bagdad Bob mask on.

You are great fun.

I'll check back in 15 minutes but my statement still stands. I think that The Old Grizzly Bear (a real life liberal crybaby) would mop the kitchen floor with Royal. He just moves better and Royal smokes too much.

Jesus loves you.

Please, Mod Squad, make it stop. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->"Sometimes I stop and think how strange this all is. Something that began as a little idea in Austin, that Wes and I just walked around talking about between ourselves, has turned into all this."</p>
