allright maybe this has been pointed out, but...

Last night a retrospective of the films of Anne-Marie Mieville began at the school I go to. If you dont know of her, Mieville is best known for her collaborations with acclaimed French filmmaker Jean Luc Godard. It is common knowledge that Wes Anderson takes a lot of influence from french films, but one thing I noticed last night during the screening of Mon cher Sujet, was one of the male characters in a bright red adidas jumpsuit, identical to Chas Tenenbaum's. His hair was curly too.

I chuckled.

that's neat. I just listened to more of the commentary yesterday and Wes says he doesn't really know why he puts Chas an dhis boys in the Red Addidas suit, "just like we don't know why they has curly hair. We just thought it would be funny."
