I apologize if this has been discussed before. I made an effort to look through the previous posts and couldn't find anything. Anyway, just before his suicide attempt, Richie says:

Wes Anderson Wrote:I'm going to kill myself tomorrow.


The tomorrow has always stood out to me because seemingly Richie immediately makes his attempt. Am I misinterpreting this? Is there a jump in time here, or does Richie change his mind? What is the significance of the "tomorrow?"

What a cheery selection for the first topic I have started on this board.
