hiya everyone.
the name's Sarah, 16 years old.
I find Anderson's artistic perspective quite fascinating and iconic. good to know you all feel the same! I have only recently begun soaking up the greatness of his films, however.
hope to have a good time here. :D

Hello. I'm David, I'm 21 and I live in Glasgow, Scotland. I gather from observing the board that I may well be the only Scot on the board. Nevertheless, should be nice to converse about Wes among other things.
Glad to be here.

Hello all, my name is Jared, and I live in Dover, OH. I had made a post in the Rushmore section before I saw this one. I'm very glad to be here!

hello internet audience,

i am new to this forum. edward was kind enough to register me manually a while back (i was the kid responsible for that 'ode to richie tenenbaum' video, which - in retrospect - was a bit strange) but never got around to actually writing my first post until now.

i would say the two cultural phenomena that have had the most impact on my life so far are the movies of mr anderson and the music of steely dan. i am sure i am in no way unique among this crowd in that i often get a feeling that "wes wrote this for me!" when i watch his movies. perhaps the fastest way to introduce myself would be to say that i am a very dysfunctional mix of max fischer and francis whitman, if that makes sense.

as a sidenote, my favorite piece of andersonian dialogue would have to be:

- did you just fuck that indian girl?
- of course not; i went for a walk.

really looking forward to mr fox. these are exciting times. glad to be here.

anders.

Hi, everybody. I'm Lia, 17. I'm currently finishing up my senior year of high school in Indiana. I saw Rushmore at an impressionable age, and from that day onward, my love for Wes Anderson has been unfailing. I suppose that's my story.

Hello! I'm here. Please don't delete me.
I heard inactive members would be deleted. So, here's my "attendance" for the roll call.

I'm really just a lurker.

My name is Andrew, by the way. I really like this place.

Responding to the request that new members introduce themselves to avoid being mistaken as robotic, generic, virtual things drifting around with an impulse toward message boards.
I was once a member of the old boards, but posted infrequently. I was warmed by others writings, feeling safe in the company of elbow patches. I since forgot my username and log in details. It didn't matter, on account of my being a reader, not a poster.
I'm feeling brave these days, and may even have a question, or an opinion.
but for now, hello. It's very nice to meet you.

Hi, new member here hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in England.

Been a big fan of Wes' films since I saw Royal Tenenbaums when it came out. I was hooked after I saw Rushmore. Annoyingly my mate Mark has my copy of The Darjeeling Limited and I need something to watch before I go to bed... hmmm. Ah well.

Nice to meet you. :)

Oh smashing! Jolly good of you to give me that topping greeting what!

I know it seems dash inconsiderate off the old ash bat to ask so bally well outright, but where dickens are you from?

I live near Chicago, far off from anywhere where anyone would understand what you or I just said. I have seen quite a few British TV and films though which would explain my cursory knowledge of your complex lexicon.
