on the old board i could just mark threads as read and the "new post"-thingy dissappeared, but now with the "delete board cookies" some stuff dissappears but some stuff is still marked, even if it's a post written in june or something. what's the problem with that or what's wrong with my setting?

yeah - i was getting annoyed with that too. i just ended up going in and clicking on all the threads that were dark pink, then hit back, just to clear it all.

You mean you don't want to actually read all the posts?

I have no idea where the thread is, but we've discussed the word before. It's just another word for emoticon or smiley. In fact, it's almost emoticon spelled backwards, but altered enough to make it resemble the name of the building in Die Hard.

Is that right, highwaters? Anything I've forgotten?

Dead ON, baby! Nice memory!

I love Alan Rickman. Ugh.

I just showed Die Hard to a friend of mine who had never seen it but said she loves Alan Rickman. After watching the film, she said something to the effect of "Hans Gruber should be the villain in every movie."

So true.

But I digress and am horribly OT.
