Speaking of the new board ... This might just be because I'm a simple man and easily impressed, but the little bit of messing around I've done so far with the "search" function on this board seems really cool. I'll be searching for random facts all night.

Update on the PM situation....when I PMed wiggum, I got an error message, but he said he got it. So the system isn't completely broken.

Well, hmmmm..... I honestly don't have a lot of free time right now. And to be completely honest, I would rather not spend my free time dealing with the board right now. It's been enough of a headache as it is. If someone is tech-savvy and can figure out these sort of problems, please e-mail me and we'll see if we can get you set up as an admin temporarily.

Okey dokes. So the pm-ing works, and the error message is a bug. I tried to send mine twice to chelse last night, and she got two. She sent two to me and got failed messages twice, but I got them.

I don't mind a little bug here and there... :)

The new board is missing something....

Haiku!

Anybody feel up to the challenge?

I'm leaving for North Carlolina today. I'll be back late Sunday night. Should be back in front of a computer on Monday. There's a slight chance that I can check in over the weekend, but I won't have time to really do anything.

OH, contull SORRY to hear that. Please hang in there and Kumars Touch or 'Wiggum will get to you. Send them e-mails to let them know what's going on

i actually cant see their emails, perhaps cus i'm not logged in? anyway it's all right - i can still say stuff and read what everyone's saying. the 'invalid or inactive' message makes me feel pretty dejected, but it's all good.

nono, i just wanted to make sure that that work wasnt finished and i hadnt been left behind like a kid in a department store

Try not to take it personally!

I have discussed the problem with contull, but for future reference, only the administrator (olwiggum) can fix this problem.

Just settling back into things today. E-mail has been sent to Contull. Maybe that will fix it.

Good to be back, Chels! :rootbeer :rootbeer

I have a question for y'all: So I see the red berets showing me which forums have new posts. I click on, say, the General Forum, and there are littler red berets showing me which threads have new posts. But some of the little pages? bells? whatever they are are pulsing. Why dey do dat? Also, sometimes the berets aren't there, but there are new posts. (Like Chelsea's right above.) Inquiring Dudleys want to know.
