Anyone else notice how after Royal gets kicked out of the house, and Etheline says "So you're not dying", and he says "no, but I do have high blood pressure", and then later he dies of a heart attach. I love Wes and his tiny nuances that make the movies so great.

i always liked how Hackman delivered that line.

also Wes uses this construction a lot in TRT:

"dad, you weren't dying." - "But i will live."
"still frown upon. But what isn't these days?"
"your reviews weren't so good." - "but the sales are"

Doesn't he ask the doctor about seizures that could possibly arise due to his high blood pressure?
*Hot lesbian witches! It's fucking genius!*

Um, yeeees.

GOD. I thought that was just me. No one ever mentions that scene!

Although he's also Richie's doctor in the ER, so he might have been doing some research. Hard to say, but he keeps reverting back to that illness, like it's his little truth net.

Yep, that's Dipak, Kumar's boy. Didn't you ever wonder how Kumar fathered such a tall man? Is there nothing he can't do?

I thought both of Dipak's TRT scenes were a little mechanical and uncomfortable.

I'm nitpicking, of course, and didn't really notice until my 80th viewing, but especially when he's talking about Richie, he says something to the effect of "I'll be back to check on him ... OK?" and just kind of wanders off and no one really acknowledges him.

Dusty's got better bedside manner.

That's kind of what I like about him. He's very straight. Like Dudley. There's something honest about his performance. I like to watch people who weren't trained as actors perform.
