I had to start a new thread since it won't let me add other options in the other poll thread. So anyway, here it is. Please only vote once. Thanks!
I'll take it down next Sunday night, June 5th.

Wiggum, is there a way to check and see if the poll results thus far stuck, or got lost?

I have to say it's perplexing me that 93 views of the thread have only resulted in a small number of actual votes. I hope they're just thinking about it a little before they vote.

They? I mean, YOU! YOOOOOU! :eek Vote vote vote!

Do vote for your banner. :)

well, I keep checking back to see how it's going. SO all those hits count, too. Not that I've done it 93 times... ;)

there’s never any time to have too much self-doubt

So it reveals the results thus far? I hadn't noticed that before now. Hm. I don't think I like that!

Same reason CBS shouldn't have called Florida for Gore before the polls closed on the West coast. People seem to stop voting unless their guy is straggling.

ohhhhkay, I am confused now. I thought you were asking about the graph because the results seemed stalled but now I am not sure what you meant. 0]

I agree that seeing result smakes you want to cheat and vote again or vote for the underdog or whatever.

there’s never any time to have too much self-doubt

i like banner 1 the most out of those 4, but i think the existing one is better than all of them.

p.s.: wiggum, that mitch hedberg quote is great. :(

Personally, I agree that the existing banner is better, too.

People always ask me, "What's cuter: puppies, or kittens?"

Maybe because you're not used to the banner as much as we are. ;) It gets kinda boring after two years.

"When I was a little kid I wanted to know what caused thunder."

After several years I still love the old banner.
But the new ones are great, too. So.. I don't know what to say.

Sure, it looks great, but it kinda got boring and it's time for a fresh one.
Who made that one, anyway?

"When I was a little kid I wanted to know what caused thunder."

I love the existing banner, too, and if there were a way to get TLA on that one and not make it look forced, I'd say go for it. But that was inspired by three films, and I really think the departure Wes made with TLA deserves our acknowledging it with a fresh banner where it's as much a part of his body of work as the others.

SingSang. That really is a great banner. I remember I couldn't believe how cool it was when I first saw it.

It's not that I'm bored with it at all, it's just that it's not all-encompassing. We're Racers. Not Slackers. ;)

hmm. only 20 votes. are people trying to make up their minds? if not, and they just aren't voting, i say we shoudl not change the banner, as it would be an unreprisentative vote. or am i just thinking there are more peeps here than there are?

And the book says, "We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us." - Jimmy Gator, Quiz Kid Donnie Smith, and Ricky Jay

It says that there a over 1,000 members, but my guess is that there are MAYBE 50 active users. There are lots of people that have registered over the years that have posted once or twice, never to return. Also, not everyone comes to the "General Discussion" forums. I'm actually pretty pleased that 20 people have voted, if I'm being honest...

The ones I didn't vote for are growing on me. I have to stop coming into this thread ...
