Am I the only one here that liked TLA better than TRT? I read you all saying TLA is his weakest film, etc., but i really liked it, more than TRT. Can somone explain why TLA is getting so much flak?

Hmmm don't really know what happend to the rest of this thread, but I am a huge TLA fan (as far the Wes movies go). The fact that I have to think about if I like it more than Rushmore is pretty impressive. I think Rushmore and TLA are tied for first, and Bottle Rocket and TRT are tied for a close second.

I love TLA more that TRT. I frankly did not get TRT. I know, I must've missed something. I've watched over 50 times and I guess I get it, but it just didn't leave me complete like all the other films. I want to love the story, but I just can't. I love the way the film looks, The music, it's a beautiful film to look at, but I don't know....... But TLA, I loved, It was just so funny to me and then heartbreaking in the end. I love TLA.
