big star rule. thirteen is obviously amazing - but i think the more you listen to the rolling stones type tracks you begin to like them.

does anyone own the album chris bell (perhaps the unsung hero of big star) did 'i am the cosmos'. there's a song called 'you and your sister' which rivals thirteen in terms of beauty - from memory anyway.

Smith's cover of it from the BOTH sessions is great. Love it.
I need to see if I have Wilco's version of it on some of the shows that I have.
