I work in the campus Library as an assistant reference librarian. That means that I'm supposed to be one of those people who you go to the day before your final 10 page paper on whale psychology is due and I pat you on the back and say "never you mind" and, with a flick of my fingers, pull you up a three page list of sources complete with mla style citations....but somehow, in my almost school-year-and-a-half of working there, I've managed to miss actually learning how to do that kind of thing. So basically, my job consists of avoiding human interaction at all cost and looking busy, mostly by shelving books at a snail's pace and shelf reading the bajeezus out of the stacks.
I don't really like the structure of my job, well ok, I hate it, but I love the setting and I love, love the people. They're the best bosses I've ever had, and if it weren't for them I probably wouldn't still be working there, for many reasons. I wont be working there next year though. Gotta keep movin' on...

well, uh...we fucking stole it man
