Okay, what about an on-going thread about films we've seen?

Today I saw two really good films: "Ghost World" and "Another Day in Paradise". The latter one really proves what a great filmmaker Larry Clark is.
------------------

That KT, what a kidder.

I'm afraid I hated it, maxie. But everyone else seems to love it, so what do I know?

People always ask me, "What's cuter: puppies, or kittens?"

Eheheh. SAW!

My sister and I used to joke about Saw. I'm the babysitter, you know.

Me: So what're you gonna see? SAW?!
She: Ah! NO! Eheheheh. Saw. Stupid ****ing name.
Me: Why not see SAAAAAAAW!
She: Eheheheheheh. So dumb. And hello, I think I don't need to be seeing a mad saw chasing people around their house.

That's always what we picture. A rotary saw gone West World, like the one in Scooby Doo that chased them through water. A saw, chasing people around their rec rooms, and SAAAAAwing through the ping pong table. Shortcut: ping pong table. I recommend a more substantial rec room table, like a billiards table. Or a bumper pool table. Or air hockey. Might hold off your demise. You like ping pong? Weak ass pressboard table. You're dead, my friend.

I'm sorry. I've been holding that inside for awhile. Heh.

Awful. I like Sandler. But honestly. The only laughs were from little kids when one of the "actors" got kicked in a "special place."

Troy: Besides, everyone dies all by himself.

Saw was a neat little idea, but the acting was a downright atrocity. It's one of the few times acting may have completely ruined a movie for me. It's also one of those movies you can't really watch more than once (Identity for example).

I just watched Birth, with nicole kidman, and I was bored to tears the whole time. I kept turning to my dog and saying, this movie is stupid... not like the dog cared or anything, but I needed to verbalize my frustration, and she was the only one around

I saw an early screening of Cinderella Man. I was blown away. Just an incredible portrait of The Great Depression. The best film I have seen so far this year.

One Hour Photo? Michael Vartan notwithstanding, I did not enjoy that one. Chalmers tried to talk me into liking it back in the day, but nyet.

Which one, Kumar? The one from the '90s or the one from the '50s?

The 1957 version, highwaters.

I love One Hour Photo. Connie Nielson's hair is terrific in that movie.

Last movie I saw: De-Lovely. Great musical, and I don't like musicals.

I never liked kids. They're like small drunk adults.
Edited by: KumarsTouch at: 6/6/05 12:04 am

Yeah, the hair was great. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw her.

"When I was a little kid I wanted to know what caused thunder."

Are you really discussing Connie Nielson's hair?

What ever happened to Connie Nielson's btw? It seemed like she was going to be the next big thing for a while.

I guess she can never surpass being Dirk's mom...
