URL of the OLD BOARD, in case we need to check it, is:
http://pub58.ezboard.com/byankeeracers33503l

I thought we should have a place to discuss any little glitches that come up with the new board.

Fopr now -- CONGRATULATIONS and thanks a million to Olwiggum and Kumar's Touch too for their work in getting this done.

cheers! : martini: (I guess the special icons will come later)

I tried adding the special emoticons a while back, but couldn't get it to work. I need to keep messing with it. Things are a little more complicated on this BBS. I guess that's why they called it "EZboard".

I may try to mess with it again in the next week or so.

Thought I'd repost this here....

When you try to click on a specific page for one of our pre-existing threads, it may take you to a page that says "Information: No posts exist for this topic." That means that not all the posts were converted. What you want to do when this happens is just go back and click on the actual title of the thread, which would take you to its first page. From there, you will notice that the actual number of pages in the thread is smaller than what was originally listed on the real page. It appears that once any member does this, the number of pages shown underneath the thread names in the main forum sections will change for everybody. You'll be able to tell when you first go on which sections I've already opened. If this doesn't make sense now, it will when you want to look at or post in one of the existing threads.

Also, unlike the other board, you have to type your own subject when you post a reply. It doesn't appear to copy the previous post's subject.

FYI, I won't be around a computer very much tomorrow (Saturday), so if there are any issues that arrive, it will probably be Sunday afternoon before I can get to them.

It's SO not urgent! so dont' worry.

I am more worried that MM-brr-cat can't get in... Keep trying, kiddo. It took me two days!

remember that the password is ALL LOWERCASE. that's what threw me off at first.

Are other people having trouble too? Not so busy as of yet....

I too won't be around for the next few days. Leave for Providence tomorrow at 6:35am. Won't be back in my dorm until Tuesday, probably (class starts Wednesday). May or may not have reliable internet access until then. Hopefully nobody else finds some major problem wiggum and I may have missed. (rather...hopefully we didn't miss anything...)

olwiggum, I tried sending you a PM just now (check your e-mail instead), and I got a message saying "Failed sending email :: PHP ::" I know you'll have a lot on your plate in the near future trying to figure out all the changes. If anybody knows how to fix the PMs (unless it's some easy fix by clicking something in the administration control), post what to do here.

ME TOO! But I figured the setup was temporary.

By the way, Bert, kudos again on the cute "We've Moved" banner, at the old board!

Hey, Everyone.

Chelse, m'luv! How's your booboo?

Wow, this move feels slightly monumental!

OK, I'm here this weekend to help and to moderate. I'll be online a lot, because I have a lot of learning to do about this board. If you need anything, once I find my PM section, I'll hit you back. (See how much learnin' there is to be done?)

At this time I CAN NOT help with your password. Until I get the lo-down from Wiggum, I can't send you the instructions on how to do it.

Kitty, did you get in yet? I'm sweating that. Dissed by the MySpace dude and your family in the same week. That ain't right.

(I like your sub. handle, though. Clevah.)

And Bertalucci, I don't know if we can help un-squish that banner. I noticed it too, but figured it was my computer. Nyet. Hm.

Hey everyone. It's good to be here. I had no problems signing on just so you know. Thanks a ton Olwiggum and Bert for doing this for us. I know it couldn't have been easy. Maybe if we ever have a convention we can do something special for you guys. Board looks great!!!

Good to see you boys!

We lost quite a bit of recent stuff in Music. Tsk. But it's alright, I just got a good laugh out of a Neil Diamond lyric exchange from 2003. Heh.

Man, first time I had no problems logging in. Then I tried to change my password and get a new avatar and when I tried to save that, something went wrong and I was suddenly logged out and couldn't get in again. :(
