I caught this episode as well and was just telling a friend of mine about this the other day. I thought it was great.

Fascinating how fast something can get old in our culture.

I caught the Peter Sarsgaard show last night and it had 2 pretty memorable sketches: the pirate convention (sARRRsgAARRd! jARRRhead!), and the Shattered Glass spoof (We're Cat Fancy magazine, Jack!) where's that rolling-around-laughing-smiley when I need it?

Ahhh Chelseagirl, please ignore my obtuse nature.

Also the Pirate sketch was awesome this weekend. The rest of the show was a little weak tho. The young Chuck Norris was amusing, but not up to the level of lazy Sunday.

You mean the 'West Coast' dudes, right? (irnic since Andy Samberg is from LA). Yes, their retort was fairly lame. Also very late since there have already been hundreds of lame takeoffs on the Web.

BUt you know, I thought the Chuck Norris thing is funny in its onwn way -- not nearly as hilarious as "Narnia" but it's clearly a faithful takeoff on a particular style, and full of Chuck Norris references.

Pardon my ignorance but who is the dude singing lead metal vocals?

He's just one of the new guys on SNL. I really don't know anything about him.
