i spent about a month trying to track down the song 'part time punks' by the television personalities after being reminded of it when i heard a jeffrey lewis cover version. i tried legal and illegal downloads, getting the cd in at work, everything... well everything under thirty bucks. and then i'm looking through my dj case, and low and behold, there it is on slints mix cd. i had it with me the whole time. and yes, i take that cd with me djing.... its great for in between the bands.

Oh, that's fantastic, Max! I'm glad you've put it to good use. Didn't you get an original cover, too? I had a lot of fun making those. I'm trying to use my powers of musical pursuasion to convince my fiancee that we should have people walk up the aisle to the theme from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." That would be amazing.
