AND I have to say -- completely perplexing that we've been alive since 2001 and no one had claimed Dignan for a handle until now. That was like when max got max. It's like it never occurred to any of us. Again, then. Sweet!

PLUS, A big hurrah of a welcome to the newbie donning the cutest damn handle I've seen to date, also our newest registrant: Piper Cub.

I think now that our tag line should include something about how we choose the cleverest handles in all of message board land. I do not mind being boastful there. Because we do it well. Cheers to us.

Yeah, I always wondered why Dignan88 (one of a few with Dignan in his name, but the most prolific/recent poster among them) didn't just get Dignan.

As for me, as I've mentioned several times before, I don't like my handle, although by now at least all the other Kumars are gone and lost forever. At least I love my AIM (a certain name of a certain character played by one Mr. Willem Dafoe -- registered that baby as soon as the name appeared on IMDb).

EDIT: Just for the hell of it, I just went to my user control panel, and it appears at first glance that I can change my handle, though I haven't tried it yet and am not sure if I actually should. I have always loved being called Kumie, and I'm not sure I want that to go away.

so, this is dignan88 with a complete new account. i have used the name heinsbergen several times on the internet and here it seems fitting.

anyway, the reason i have a complete new account, after registering i couldnt leave the user control panel anymore. i was stuck and couldnt leave it. didnt matter where i clicked, everytime the user control panel popped up, even after deleting the cookies and stuff.

I couldn't remember when I originally changed my username if I had to change my password, but I just temporarily changed my username again, and I did indeed need to change my password. If you can, go back into your other account and change your password. Then you should be fine. It will let you leave the user control panel once you have done so.

EDIT: The original username seems to be Jonestown. Can you log into that?

EDIT 2: If you can't, I should be able to give you a new password, and I can e-mail it to you or send it in a PM to your new account.

This board is rather touchy about re-setting the password, it seems. I have been caught up there a few times trying to figure out what was wrong.

getting stuck happened to me too. the trick is to just fill out everything on the page and then submit, i think. fortunately it lets us reuse passwords. if i change it from one thing to the next on some boards or emails, i can't change it back.

bang it worked by filling out everything... "Heinsbergen" can be deleted.
