This is what I have from Fox Searchlight --

It opened Saturday, September 29th in New York in two theatres (Union Square, Lincoln Sq) after premiering as the opening night selection at the New York Film Festival on Friday (9/28).

The film then expands on 10/5 to LA, Boston, Chicago, San Fran, Washington DC and Toronto with further expansions to come in the weeks following.

Thanks so much for the info! It makes me surprisingly happy that Toronto is one of the first cities to get the film. I was so worried I'd see it after everyone else. Hooray.

If you have gone to a screening this weekend, how was the crowd? I went for a morning matinée on Friday, and there were only 10-12 people in the theatre. But, that was early, so I hope it's no indication.

I went on a Saturday at 10-ish and it was completely full.

Also, I was watching some of the IFC news press conference videos on youtube and Wes mentioned that Hotel Chevalier will be added back on at some point during the theatrical run, I assume that'll be a month or two down the line, but did you have any information on that?
