I saw it and I didn't really like to much. I thought it was kinda boring and there was no point to it. Poor editing also. Owen Wilson was the only person keeping the movie alive. If he wasn't in it the film would have been a total piece of trash.

Any thoughts?? -- Fritz Lang

Yeah, I caught a Big Bounce preview the other day and I didn't think it was terrible. Definitely not amazing, but i'd say it's worth the price of the ticket. Terrible writing. No story or discernible plot, but Hawaii looked great on film and Owen Wilson and Sara Foster were wonderful together. I was pleasantly surprised by Sara Foster. I knew going in she was attractive, but she's not a bad actor either. She looked nice with Owen. Anyway, it's worth checking out. How often do you get to see a comedy noir?

by the way...starsky and hutch trailer - awesome

I went to see it on opening night....I thought the movie in general was really bland and flat, but Owen definitely made it worth seeing. Although the movie was boring, everything that came out of his mouth was hilarious, as usual. CAN'T WAIT FOR STARSKY AND HUTCH!!!! I saw the preview for it in the movie theatre and just about pissed my pants laughing. <p>"Richard Gere, he's a real hero of mine....Sting, Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music that he makes, I don't really listen to it. But just the fact that he's making it, I respect that."</p>

Although it's had mainly bad reviews here (in Oz), the snobbiest (ie best) film reviewer in the country liked it. But then he loves Wes' films so probably likes Owen regardless. A Kent Jones for the antipodes.
