Whoa... I just saw a Kit Kat commercial with a poor, but recognizable, immitation of Owen Wilson as Hansel. Actually the character was a kind of hansel/derek fusion -- he made the sexy/dangerous face, did the Owen drawl, had shaggy blonde hair.

It was weird. Who are they trying to amuse with that unoriginal crap? <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way. -mark twain

uugggghhhh........... I hope I <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>don't</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--> see that commercial. It sounds really gay. <p>"Richard Gere, he's a real hero of mine....Sting, Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music that he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it. But the fact that he's making it, I respect that."</p>

"It sounds really gay."

Actually, the commercial has several shots of man-on-man sex. <p>"Well then I just want to die." - Raleigh St Clair</p>

Damn. I must've only caught the PBS version...

But I saw this commercial recently (in my monthly "Hey I should watch some tv!" night), and was so unimpressed by it. What the hell are people thinking these days?

It is so not funny, so derivative, and I geuss would only be remotely funny to those who had not seen Zoolander or the real Owen Wilson. Blech. ECat, that will turn you right off TV. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way. -mark twain

Raleigh, Raleigh. :lol The eleven-year-olds where I work say "That's so gay!" all. the. TIME. And it drives me nuts.

How much trouble would I get into if I said, "Oh, does it have man-on-man sex?" the next time I hear it?
The school board would be totally understanding, right? <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->Mandingo. I grock your mouth music. -- The Tick</p>

DudleyFan, that's funny! When you said "the 11 yearolds where I work", I thought you were in IT or something till I realised you literally meant 11 year olds.

Little kids are really cute.

Yes, I work at an elementary school.

Sample library conversation:

Me: "Okay, Cassius, it's Kevin's turn with 'Simpson's Belly Busters,' then yours."
Cassius: "That so gay!"
Me: "<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>sigh....</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->"

On on-topic: I haven't seen the Kit-Kat commercial. :\ <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->Mandingo. I grock your mouth music. -- The Tick</p>
