From Variety:<!--EZCODE QUOTE START--><blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers) has closed deals to topline and produce a pair of comedy spec scripts sold: Stalker -- A Love Story at Paramount Pictures and Me, You and Dupree at Universal Pictures.

Stalker -- A Love Story, from writers Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert, centers on a man who, after realizing too late that he's let the perfect woman get away, tries to win her back in all the wrong ways.

Me, You and Dupree, by Michael Lesieur, revolves around a troubled newlywed couple whose problems are magnified when the groom's out-of-work meddlesome best man moves in and begins competing with him.

Wilson has also optioned journalist John Falk's book "Hello to All That: A Memoir of War, Zoloft, and Peace," and plans to star in and produce the adaptation.<hr></blockquote><!--EZCODE QUOTE END--><!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.comingsoon.net/news.php?id=8805">www.comingsoon.net/news.php?id=8805</a><!--EZCODE LINK END--> <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END--> Hey hey hey. Owen and Kate aren't the married couple. Kate and somebody else.

But he'll still probably be older than she is. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->I never liked kids. They're like small drunk adults. </p>

OK, not to be a sh**head or anything, but I'm about to be a little sh**head.

I'm not wild about the Matt Dillon. I just am not, I've never been involved in his performances any more than with say ... David Spade's. I don't get the ubersupport of his 'craft.' I just don't. It's lost on me.

I like Kevin Dillon, though. I've only seen him, recently, in Entourage (and his character could chill with FutureMan, lemme tell ya), and only once at that. But I loved him in Heaven Help Us and in A Midnight Clear. God, he was great in Midnight Clear, it was just one of those movies where everyone was perfect for their role. (And yada, you know I love it. Need some arch support, Ms. Shoe!)

I can't think of a single performance where I found M. DILLON memorable. The movie might be, but it's not because of his work. Am I the only one? I could be all subliminally anti-eyebrow, it's possible. It's true, it's possible.

It's true because there's no explaining my loyalty to Rob Lowe, I'm sure of that. He's adorable and I like the way he carries himself, and I like that he'll take those a-hole roles in the SNL movies. Love him.

Wildly OT.

My point. My chances of getting through these roadblocks are ... pretty slim, I don't like this cast beyond O.

It's really important to me that it's all transparent, all totally coy. It's about what happens when you keep secrets, because they're transparent anyhow. Things will come out one way or another, and just because they come out doesn't mean they are true." - Jennifer Montgomery</span><!--EZCODE FONT END--></p>

You aren't being a "little sh**head," highwaters. Just a messenger of the truth. Matt Dillon is nothing special. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END-->I never liked kids. They're like small drunk adults. </p>Edited by: KumarsTouch at: 7/24/05 2:11 pm

Aw. Thanks, Kumar. (I always feel bad for bagging on Mickey Rourke and Richard Gere, too.) <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END--> <!--EZCODE FONT START--><span style="color:navy;font-family:times new roman;font-size:x-small;">"And that's the whole idea of the film: it's a fake documentary; it's about fake secrecy. hw, thanks for mentioning A Midnight Clear!
The only Matt Dillon movie I like is The Outsiders-and it's mainly bacuse he gets to say, "Let's do it for Johnny!" all furious and desperate, right before the rumble with the Soc's. Besides, have you seen The Outsiders lately? It is super corny! Rob Lowe is so pretty, and Tom Cruise is so homophobic, and Patrick Swayze is all...swayzied.

sigh.

but back to the point, I just don't feel the Matt Dillon comedy thing. But I guess they think that if they pair him with a young, hot blond (see: Cameron Diaz) he'll make it work. <p><!--EZCODE HR START--><hr /><!--EZCODE HR END--> "Deadly Bulb. I'm about to write you a reality check. Or would you prefer the cold, hard cash of truth?.
